New Year New....Guides?

So, I don't do New Year's resolutions. Instead, I practice yearly overviews. I set specific targets with specific rewards, and I look at them quarterly to make sure I'm still in alignment with my soul's path. When you're walking a spiritual journey, Source can ask you to shift direction drastically, and let's face it, we don't always want to listen.

The truth is, when we are spiritually aligned and living fully in flow, life gets much, much smoother. The challenges become less and less. But there's one challenge that often stays the same: it's your ego wanting to control outcomes and directions. That beautiful, protective part of you will be there until it feels safe enough to transform with Source and express something new.

That being said, here is today's Divinely Channeled Message.

Today’s Channeled Message

"God does not challenge you. Universe, Source, Consciousness does not challenge you. The challenges come when your unconscious sends the energy into the energy field, and it is often what you are afraid of receiving. You are in all ways calling to yourself exactly what it is you are afraid of receiving, and then when something amazing happens to you, you are suspicious. Then suspicion grows and others will show you your suspicion. Everything you are ignoring is going into the energy field to cultivate your challenges. Look at what you are ignoring."

This is such a powerful reminder that we are the creators of our reality. Your challenges are not punishments; they are invitations to look deeper at the parts of yourselves in the parts have been pushed into the shadows. The one's you are afraid to speak out-loud.

Community Q&A: Identifying Your Guides

Today's question and answer fit quite nicely with this message about what we might be ignoring.

The Question:​
​"When I meditate and connect to my guides, I feel them, but I don't know who they are. How can I tell who my guides are?"

The Answer:​
This is such a beautiful and common question. If you are unsure of who is showing up to support you spiritually, it is often because you are ignoring something, or you simply do not know them enough yet to identify them.

There are many guides, and they will come when you call them, unless they are not part of your guide team. Here are some things you can do to help build that relationship and identify who is with you.

1. Ask for a Guide by Name: If you have a name of a guide, angel, or ascended master that resonates with you, ask for them specifically. Then, trust that the strongest presence you feel is them. If it doesn't feel exactly as you expected, that's actually normal. Our expectations can limit our experience.
2. Request a Clear Sign: Ask your guide for a clear, unmistakable sign of their presence. This could be to trigger a certain emotion (like peace or joy) when they enter your space, or a physical sign in your environment like a specific number, feather, or song.
3. Research and Study: Open your mind to possibility by researching different kinds of spiritual guides—angels, ancestors, animal guides, elemental beings. This gets your creative mind moving and makes energetic space for you to recognize a wider variety of guides.
4. Examine Your Beliefs: Get curious about what you believe about the guide you're calling on. How do you think they feel? How do you think they sound? What do you think their signature signs are? Journaling on these questions can reveal hidden expectations or blocks that are preventing you from clearly perceiving their presence.
5. Trust Yourself: Once you have a steady frequency of energy that you connect with regularly, trust that you know who they are and start asking them to shift things into alignment for you. Guides are here to help you connect with the Universal you.

Building a relationship with your guides is a journey of trust, starting with trusting yourself.

Embracing your spiritual path means being willing to look at what you're ignoring, both within yourself and in the subtle realms around you. As you get clearer internally, your connection to your guides will naturally become stronger.
