Hello Lovely Soul,

There is one constant within our minds and that is the duality of the mind which allows the ego to direct and create internal conflict.

Let's talk about that today.

Dance with the Ego

Too often I hear about the "ego death". While this is an event that happens, and has happened to me 5 times in the last 12 years, it also leads to the misconception that we must fight our ego in order to reach higher levels on consciousness.

That is simply not true. The ego exists for you to dance with. It is the thing in your mind that has kept you alive, and kept you safe. We are evolving past the time of survival and into a time of elevated consciousness.

Instead of creating conflict with this integral part of you, I encourage you to meditate with higher consciousness and surrender the ego to the higher self to become transformed.

The practice of surrendering the ego will lead to a transformative life experience. You will start to see the world differently, and feel emotions differently. You can start to see and express has the higher consciousness while identifying when your ego is trying to take over.

The more you surrender it to your higher self, the more it transforms in the light of consciousness thus bringing this part of your mind into unity instead of separation.

But the biggest benefit to identify and dancing with the ego patterns, hands down, without question, is the lack of fear.

Ego creates fear. It also creates masks for the fear. Do you feel really good, or really bad, being the center of attention? Well, the ego is trying to hide fear in both of those feelings.

Do you have to win every game, or compete fiercely? That is the ego also masking a fear.

Reminder

The full moon is coming up on Friday! It's a beautiful time to surrender and transform anything that is not serving your purpose in this life. It is also a great time to ask for transformation and co create with the Universe.

This Full Moon is in Sagittarius so watch out for those impulsive thoughts that lead to making hasty decisions. Make sure you are not overextending yourself in your commitments, and make time to go on an adventure!

Summer time will officially be here, and it's the perfect time for adventures!
